SoundSmith by Hearthlight Creative Studios

Mastering tools designed around creative intent

Technical enough to show what is happening, clear enough to keep each decision usable.

01 · Understand the source

Audio analysis

SoundSmith examines the file locally and presents practical information about the waveform, spectral balance, dynamics, stereo information, transients, loudness and true peak.

Why it is useful

You can identify the starting condition before changing it. Analysis informs the direction; it does not make the decision for you.

  • Review what the browser detects
  • Relate readings to what you hear
  • Choose which areas need attention

02 · Shape the processing

Creator-directed mastering

EQ, compression and limiting controls sit alongside adjustable suggestions, genre guidance and purpose or destination guidance.

Control stays visible

Use A/B comparison to move between the original and the working master. Suggestions are starting directions that you can change or decline.

03 · Describe the result

Plain-English intent

Describe an intended quality in ordinary language. Your prompt, selected EQ preset and slider values are used by the AI-assistance service to generate EQ mathematics, which the browser then applies locally to your audio. The service may not interpret every phrase perfectly, so the result always remains available for review and adjustment.

04 · Finish and document

Export and release information

Finished master

Export the finished result using the options available in the application. You choose when the master is ready.

Metadata and provenance

Record standard fields, optional professional codes, origin and process information, optional intent text and a mathematical hash of the mastering configuration. These records assist provenance; they do not legally prove ownership.

Archive

Archive duration and capability depend on plan. The archive concerns relevant records and information, not cloud storage of your source audio.

05 · Eligible plan

Artist DNA

You decide which masters contribute selected mathematical preference data and intent information. It can help establish a consistent future starting point without training on stored source recordings, and every proposed direction remains adjustable.

06 · Local processing

Privacy model

Source audio remains on your device for mastering. Text prompts, mathematical analysis and account records are different categories with different roles.
