The recording is processed locally for mastering. SoundSmith may retain account details, selected settings, prompts, metadata, mathematical information and archive records according to your account and plan—but those records are not a stored source recording.

No. SoundSmith is an AI-assisted audio mastering platform. It works with audio you have already created and leaves the mastering decisions adjustable by you.
No. Your source audio is opened and processed locally in your browser for mastering.
No. SoundSmith does not store your source recording in the cloud. Account records, settings, metadata and mathematical mastering information are separate from the audio file.
Your source recording is not supplied to external AI systems for training. Your plain-English prompt, selected EQ preset and slider values are sent to the AI-assistance service to generate EQ mathematics for local browser processing, as explained on the SoundSmith privacy page.
Yes. Suggestions are starting points: relevant EQ, compression, limiting and other available controls remain reviewable and adjustable.
